Strategic planning workshop
Hoshin Kanri Strategic Planning Workshop
A facilitated working session for leadership teams that need to align a True North vision, strategic priorities, roles, and measures across the organization.
The operating problem
A strategy cannot move if every level is carrying a different version of it.
Annual objectives and long-term goals can pull teams in different directions—even when every leader is acting in good faith. Hoshin Kanri connects the organization’s vision and priorities to roles, measures, and a visible deployment process.
This destination is for the leadership team responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring that direction reaches the people doing the work.
Workshop agenda
What the working sessions cover
The sequence below reorganizes the material already approved on Incito’s existing workshop page. Exact timing and facilitation format remain to be scoped with Incito.
- 01
Revisit the True North
Align the organization’s vision, mission, and core values with the strategic direction leadership is asking people to execute.
- 02
Assess the strategic plan
Use tools already named in Incito’s workshop—such as Affinity and Relations Diagrams, SWOT, Radar Charts, Priority Plots, and the Sequential Tree Process—to examine the current plan.
- 03
Define deployment roles
Establish high-level organizational roles and responsibilities for policy deployment so ownership does not disappear between leadership and execution.
- 04
Select the measures
Review current business activity and establish indicators that make progress against the strategic plan visible.
